BRAKING SYSTEMS

A supplemental braking system is recommended with your towing system.
It will help stop your motor home in a tight pinch.

In a lot of states a braking system is required.

Here are a few of the brake systems we recommend:

M&G BRAKE SYSTEM

The M&G braking system is one of the best on the market.

M&G works off of the air brakes on your motorhome. Once the brakes on the motor home have been applied, the M&G unit then activates the brakes on your vehicle proportionally to the amount of braking on the motor home.

(If you do not have air brakes on your motorhome there is an air reservoir that can be added to the motorhome to make it compatible.)

BRAKEMASTER

The Brakemaster is a good braking system to have on your vehicle.

It is a cylinder that is mounted to a bracket on the floor then hooked to the brake pedal. An air line connects to the cylinder and when the air brakes on the motorhome are actuated, the cylinder is activated, pressing on the brake pedal.

(If you do not have air brakes on your motorhome there is an air reservoir that can be added to the motorhome to make it compatible.)

UNIFIED TOW BRAKE
The Unified Tow Brake is a good option for motorhomes with hydraulic brakes. It is a permanent installation, and this allows it to remain in place whether towing or driving the vehicle. An electrical connection between the motorhome and the towed vehicle is the only hook up required when setting up for towing.
